“ENEA was also actively involved in the technical jury that evaluated the projects and designated the 16 finalists. 221 projects participated in this year's edition, representing all 7 thematic areas proposed and coming from 18 Italian regions, with a greater incidence of Campania, Lombardy and Lazio. In the final, as well as for the Innovation Village Award 2022, the projects will compete for all the prizes and mentions, both in cash and services, offered by the Innovation Village partners ", explains Oscar Amerighi, head of the ENEA Knowledge Service Exchange Strategy, which is responsible for implementing the KEP program (Knowledge Exchange Program) which provides companies and their associations with a team of experts specialized in technology transfer, a fund for the development of joint projects and dedicated portal with a selection of advanced technologies and services.
the first, aimed at presenting the various EEN services of personalized assistance to SMEs, with particular attention to digitization as a key factor for technologies disruptive and on the opportunities for research, development and innovation collaborations with ENEA, as part of the KEP and PoC programs. The second focuses on sustainability as a factor that enables the industrial transition to new business models and on the opportunities that arise from an assessment of the environmental, social and governance sustainability of corporate performance.
“During the meeting, the strategy of industrial symbiosis and the methods for its effective implementation through the creation of a network on the territory will be presented. Present companies and start-ups will be able to explore these issues with ENEA experts also in view of the working groups that will be organized with the companies in the coming months. On this occasion, the activities underway within the MISSION Smart Grid project and the integrated energy grids will also be presented as an opportunity for SMEs to accelerate the energy transition ”, concludes Amerighi.
Finally, ENEA also organizes the Virtual Brokerage Event 2022, an event focused on sustainable and intelligent technologies, products and solutions that support the green and digital transition. The event will be inaugurated on 3 November 2022 by a Pitch Session dedicated to the finalist projects of the Innovation Village Award 2022 and will continue with B2B meetings that will be organized online from 4 to 17 November 2022 with over 300 participants from 50 countries.
