Snapchat is releasing its own ChatGPT-powered AI chatbot

Snapchat is introducing a chatbot powered by OpenAI's latest version of ChatGPT. According to Snap's CEO, it's a gamble that AI chatbots will increasingly become a part of more people's daily lives.

New chatbot functionality will initially roll out to Snapchat+ subscribers only, but will roll out to all users later Snapchat. Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel says this is just the beginning, and that many features will be introduced based on artificial intelligence.

MyAI

The Verge reports that the new ChaptGPT integration will be called My AI and, if used in-app, will be available with your own profile, like any other friend. It's how to use Chat GPTbut lacks some features. In addition, Snapchat has optimized artificial intelligence to ensure compliance with the rules of the social network.

You will initially need the Snapchat+ subscription, which costs $3,99 a month.

Snap feedback

In a blog post, Snap acknowledged that My AI may be susceptible to errors early on, but the company's goal is to avoid "distorted, incorrect, harmful or misleading information." As we've learned in recent months, AI chatbots can be manipulated to get specific answers to specific questions.

To avoid this, Snap asks snapchat+ users to provide feedback on the bot as soon as it becomes available. The company also plans to save all conversations to rate the chatbot. Based on these reviews and the feedback they contain, Snapchat will continue to improve the chatbot.

As we well know, all artificial intelligence systems improve thanks to the application of numerous data sets, but unfortunately they too can make mistakes.
