Cove the litter box with a modern design

Cove is an innovative cat litter designed by cat designers, engineers and behaviorists, a great alternative to traditional unattractive litter.

The Innovative Cat Litter Box is made from a thick, slightly textured, double-walled, matte plastic. It comes with an integrated dustpan, dustpan and hand brush that fit into an accessible top compartment.

Unlike many litter boxes, Cove's shape is simple and open, with no unnecessary curves or hard-to-reach corners. This makes it easy to clean.

The dimensions of the innovative cat litter box are 22 by 16 by 6 inches, which works for all but very large cats.

If you ask any cat owner, they'll tell you that the most annoying part of owning a cat is the litter box. It's something you interact with every day, but it's a pain to clean and the options available are really bad.

Or you use a plain, but ugly plastic trash can. Or you use a space-age robot that's huge, loud, and easy to break.

The Cove team are obsessed with design and cats. We needed a litter box that was simple, beautiful and easy to clean. But none existed, so the Cove team designed one.

Kit Cove

Cove is a beautiful litter box kit with integrated scoop and scoop built by furniture designers, engineers and animal behaviorists.

After extensive user research, the design team found that the most important feature of a litter box is that it should be easy to clean. Yet many litter boxes have shapes and materials that are difficult to clean. Cove's shape is incredibly simple and open: there are no unnecessary curves or hard-to-reach corners. A variety of options were considered for the material, but plastic was ultimately chosen because it is durable and particularly easy to clean.

Most plastic litter boxes are flimsy and have a cheap finish, but Cove uses a double wall and slightly textured, sturdy exterior matte plastic that is pleasing to the eye. The inside of the box is smooth and easy to clean with just one wipe. The contrasting silicone rubber at the base keeps the box firmly planted on the floor and prevents sliding as the cat goes in and out.

The innovation

The main innovation was precisely in the search for litter tools, for user satisfaction and for the result of the litter itself.

Another common user frustration is the scattering of material caused by the cat coming and going. Precisely in this sense, a second innovation was introduced: why not design a litter box with well-integrated tools that address the reality of litter box maintenance?

The scoop is sturdy and the molded silicone rubber handle feels great in the hand. The angle of the scoop edge is designed to glide easily through the litter without much effort, and the angled slots have been carefully designed to allow the litter to glide quickly with minimal sifting. The shape of the scoop matches the exact contour of the litter box, so it can slide easily around edges and corners without losing effectiveness.
