CNH awarded at the Agritechnica Innovation Awards for its technology in the agricultural field

CNH is strongly committed to developing its technology to make agriculture simpler, more efficient and sustainable for its customers.

The company's commitment to excellence has been recognized with a series of new innovation awards awarded to the Case IH, New Holland and STEYR brands.

Overall, the company's three agricultural brands won five medals at the 2023 Agritechnica Innovation Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the sector, awarded annually by the German Agricultural Society DLG.

New Holland Agriculture was recognized with the show's only gold medal this year for its tractor product innovation. The recognition went to the new Twin Rotor combine concept, which will be presented as a world premiere at Agritechnica in November 2023. This new combine has been designed to offer higher performance, designed to reduce grain loss and will feature important automation features that will enhance the future of agriculture.
New Holland also received two silver medals for its T7 LNG tractor concept with its innovative and environmentally friendly biofuel technology with “low carbon emissions”.
This tractor helps make waste profitable, improving farm profitability and ensuring affordable sustainability solutions for farms of all sizes.

T4 Electric Power

The second prize concerns the T4 Electric Power tractor, the first tractor fully electric in the industry with autonomous functionality that guarantees maximum productivity and efficiency, while providing silent power without emissions. The recognition and success of these machines reinforces sustainability as a central pillar of the company's strategy.
Case IH stood out with its silver medal-winning AxialFlow forward-rate radar system. Latest generation radar sensors scan and evaluate the density of the crop before it enters the machine mechanism, as an alternative to the traditional system that manages the process during the threshing phase. Benefits for the farmer include:

  • greater uniformity of production speeds,
  • reduced losses,
  • better grain quality e
  • a reduced risk of blockages

Thus making the harvesting phases more productive and profitable.

CVT hybrid tractor

STEYR, the highly specialized tractor brand for European agriculture, has been awarded a silver medal for its unique CVT hybrid tractor prototype. Its hybrid electric drive provides additional power, bringing the tractor from 180 HP to 260 HP. The tractor offers faster acceleration thanks to supercapacitor technology. E-Shuttling (electronic shuttle) allows faster maneuvering at low engine speeds and a reduction in fuel consumption.
These important awards demonstrate CNH's commitment to innovation, sustainability and productivity in serving our customers around the world.
