Visa, the world leader in digital payments, has developed a programmable fintech platform. Among the nine finalists tasked with exploring innovative, science-based use cases blockchain for Real Digital (Brazil's central bank-issued digital currency, or CBDC) as part of the most recent LIFT Challenge. For the development of its secondary mission, the company collaborated with Agrotoken, Microsoft and Sinqia.
After several months of collaborative work, in which the best researchers and engineers of their respective companies took part, Visa and its team are excited to share the results of participation in the LIFT Challenge, the programmable fintech platform dedicated to small and medium-sized businesses ( SMEs), particularly to farmers, designed to broaden access to global capital markets, promote interoperability between currencies, improve operational processes and identify new growth opportunities.
A fintech platform is software that allows investors to buy and sell financial assets such as stocks, bonds, currencies and commodities through the Internet. It offers tools for analysis, order execution and portfolio management.
