Boyd, the world leader in technological innovation for engineered materials and thermal management, has announced the expansion of its presence in Europe with a newly built plant located in the strategic location of Gliwice, Poland.
Boyd's new large-scale manufacturing facility features the latest in assembly processes and automated manufacturing technologies for the production of complex thermal systems and multi-layered engineered materials. This state-of-the-art 12.657 square meter facility has ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental management systems certification. It also passed the second stage inspection for automotive quality management systems IATF 16949 and is in the process of obtaining the final certification. Boyd Poland's robust and specialized quality and environmental management systems are designed to meet the European region's growing demand for eMobility, cloud computing and industrial technology requirements. Equipped with the company's largest controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB) line, the plant is ideally placed to deliver sufficient volumes of eMobility liquid cooling technology required by European electric vehicle manufacturers.

Boyd's agility allows us to scale up capacity and expand into individual regions quickly to meet those needs.”
