In the 2023 edition of the Reply Code Challenge, based on the famous game "Snake & Ladders", participants will have to create an algorithm capable of securing corporate networks, using a simulation in the metaverse.
Open to coders worldwide, the challenge will take place online on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
As usual, two challenges at the same time: the Standard Edition, aimed at university students and professionals and the Teen Edition open to children between the ages of 14 and 19.
The sixth edition of the Standard Edition sees the University Students League program confirmed. Each participant will contribute to both their team's score and that of their university. The university that obtains the highest score, given by the sum of the scores obtained by the coders of that university, will win a prize chosen between financial support for a university project or Arcade Game for common areas.
The High School Students League, the challenge between high schools, enriches the competition of the youngest participants of the Teen Edition. By participating in the Code Challenge, each team will contribute to the ranking of their high school and will be able to win a donation of €2.000 for their school and a dedicated Coding course created by Reply experts for the classes of the winning institute, thus also demonstrating the educational value of the competition.
The teams will be able to submit all the solutions they manage to develop within the competition times, using all programming languages, including C++ and Python. The podium will be determined by the algorithms that will obtain the best score during the tests.
The Reply Code Challenge allows you to test your limits by offering the opportunity to improve your programming skills and to acquire new ones thanks to the challenges created by Reply experts and modeled on real scenarios. Players will be able to experiment with new technologies, programming languages and problem solving strategies, which are essential to distinguish themselves in the programming industry.
With the launch of the Code Challenge, Reply inaugurates the 2023 schedule of Reply Challenges. Confirmed this year are the Investment challenge competitions in May, designed to introduce students to the world of investments, and Cyber Security in October, based on the search for specific vulnerabilities hidden within software and computer systems.
The Reply Challenges, which currently have a community of 100.000 players, together with the specialization Masters on Digital Finance at the POLIMI Graduate School of Management and on AI & Cloud at the Polytechnic of Turin and the Reply Code For Kids program, are just some of the examples which testify to Reply's commitment to the development of innovative training models, capable of involving the new generations.
