LiGrip the new product for Mapping with SLAM technology
LiGrip is a new product series launched by GreenValley International. The product adopts a compact body with a simple and lightweight design for convenient and versatile operating options.
Featuring an integrated Velodyne VLP-16 disc LiDAR sensor and HD camera, LiGrip is suitable for many industry specific projects. Multi-platform support, combining LiDAR and state-of-the-art SLAM algorithms to achieve highly accurate HD mapping in even the most challenging environments.
Leggero
The minimalist design with an aluminum shell provides a lightweight yet sturdy portable system.
Versatile
With additional options that allow for adaptations such as UAV, vehicle or backpack mount, LiGrip is GreenValley's most versatile LiDAR system to date.
Cutting-edge SLAM algorithm
Using thealgorithm Industry-leading GreenValley SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping), LiGrip provides accurate real-time positioning when mapping environments.
LiGrip: the product and data processing
LiGrip is a portable laser scanner with multi-platform support compatible with car, drone and backpack. The product is designed to perform surveys in harsh environments thanks to the Velodyne VLP-16 puck integrated LIDAR sensor and high definition camera.
From the datasets collected during the demo, it emerges that completeness and speed are the main characteristics of LiGrip which allows you to obtain complete surveys very easily within a few minutes. L'algorithm SLAM 2.0, with an accuracy in the order of 10 cm, allows in fact to immediately obtain datasets free of noise and shadow cones.
The data was processed with LiFuser-BP, the software designed to process, view, modify and refine the data collected with LiBackpack and LiGrip, products of GreenValley International.
Intuitive and easy to use, LiFuser-BP contains tools to perform differential corrections of GNSS data, optimize SLAM-based point cloud assembly procedure, act directly on survey trajectory, and merge 2D panoramic images and 3D LIDAR datasets.
The software also has functions for aligning and cleaning point clouds, and allows the coloring of the cloud through the data collected by the camera installed on the system.
